So in the wake of our heat wave in Toronto my dog Sammy cannot get any relief.  So what does she do, she sleeps across both of my legs at night trying to get as close as possible to me- not the brightest dog on the planet.  At 4:30am the baby starts crying so I am startled out of my sleep and sit up pulling my back-because the dog was sleeping across my legs.  I then went into the babies room and had to lift her out of her crib and rock her back to sleep-yah not good for the back, but better than the entire house being woken at 4:30am.  Kasia has been talking about trading Sammy in this week for a pet RAT-long storey, but I, for once pondered her request.

It felt like a long day at work and I left early to get a massage, my Erector muscles (along either side of my spine) would not release.  I took an Epsom salt bath last night and performed some much needed recovery exercises this morning.  I am starting to get relief.  This can happen to the best of us at any time.  I honestly haven’t felt this in over 5 years, since before my children were born.  My gluts were not working and with each step I could feel I was using my back.  Life and movements can be unpredictable.   Take a look at my video as I trouble shoot my way through this mommy mishap to get my back on track.
