I received an email asking me if I take the multi vitamins I promote and do I take the amount it says on the bottle.

Yes I take an all natural Prograde muti-vitamin.   As a busy, active mom I rely on keeping up with my nutrition.  There is a lot of crap on the store shelves and I was shocked to read the independent testing results of multivitamins in Canada.  Most drugstore over the counter brands yield less than 50% of what the label claims, this is legaland the bulk of ingredient is made up with filler.  Many major brands were below 20% and 2 major brands that I see regularly at local drugstores had 5% and 8% of the actual ingredient it was promoting on the label. 

I definatly get the advice of a naturopath  when picking my nutritional products.  There is a simple equation when buying vitamins- if they are cheap$ they are cheap- you get what you pay for in general.  So 5$ vitamins may yield 5% of the ingredient it says onthe label or a low grade non- digestible form.  USELESS.  That being said I can honestly say 90% of all supplement companies are dishonest and have markups of about 500% on products.

I do take the suggested amount on the label- reason being there is no artificial time release chemical in a natural vitamin so you need to take more, or take them more often, a bit of extra work for a huge benefit.

My Multi vitamins is prograde brand, infact so is my deep cold water fish oil (krill) which has numerous benefits one being enhanced fat loss.
